Born in Sefaatli, Yozgat in 1956, Ihsan Yesilyurt completed his high school education in TED Ankara College Foundation Private High School in 1973 and he receibed his LL.B. from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1977. He completed his internship beside his father Ismail Yesilyurt and registered to Ankara Bar Association with Bar Register No. 6641. He carried out his military service as a military judge in Military Courts of Turkish Land Forces and General Staff Command. He worked in various commissions of Ankara Bar Association for a long time and worked as Board Accountant of Ankara Bar Association between 2006 and 2008. He also served as a Delegate of Union of Turkish Bar Association between 2008 and 2010.

Ihsan Yesilyurt represented Ankara Bar Associations in various events, symposiums and conferences held by International Bar Associations. He has been serving as the deputy chairman of Turkish Athletic Federation Discipline Committee since 2006.

He continues to serve as an expert in Judicial and Administrative Justice in the field of calculations of material compensation caused by death or injuries arising from the violations against physical integrity since 1983. Working as a legal consultant for various companies in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir, Ihsan Yesilyurt is married with two children and has been carrying out his job successfully since 1978. He has a good command of English.
